The theme of the New Delhi World Book Fair 2024 is “Multi-Lingual India, A Living Tradition”. This year India has invited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Which is going to be held from the 10th of February to the 18th of February at Pragati Maidan, Mathura Road, New Delhi – 110001
Commencing its 51st edition, the New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF) has been an integral fixture in the publishing world for the past five decades. Set to unfold from February 10 to 18, 2024, within the newly constructed Halls 1-5 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, this year’s fair promises a dynamic literary experience. The event is meticulously organized by the National Book Trust, India, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, with the co-organization and venue partnership of ITPO under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

Children’s Pavilion Enthusiastically promoting children’s literature and reading habits, the Children’s Pavilion offers a spectrum of activities such as storytelling sessions, workshops, panel discussions, interactive sessions, quizzes, contests, and a Child Author’s Corner. Renowned authors, illustrators, and professionals from education and publishing conduct these engaging sessions, attracting participants from various schools and organizations associated with children’s literature.
YUVA CORNER In line with the India@75 celebrations, the Ministry of Education introduces ‘YUVA-Prime Minister’s Scheme for Mentoring Young Authors.’ This initiative aims to train 75 young authors chosen through a nationwide contest, mentored by established authors. These young writers will interact with book enthusiasts, visitors, and panellists in the specially-designed YUVA corner.
THEME PAVILION Designed by the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, the Theme Pavilion showcases the fair’s theme through creatives, graphics, installations, books, and cultural activities, offering a unique and immersive experience.
INTERNATIONAL EVENTS CORNER A platform for sharing ideas and enhancing literary understanding, the International Events Corner encourages foreign entities to organize book launches, panel discussions, literary programs, and workshops for both children and adults.
CEO SPEAK (A FORUM FOR PUBLISHING) CEOs and Senior Executives are invited to participate in the B2B event, CEO Speak, organized by National Book Trust, India, and FICCI. This forum allows the exchange of ideas about the Indian and International book trade.
AUTHORS’ CORNERS Aesthetically designed Authors’ Corners provide a platform for dialogues, panel discussions, and book launches. Named Book Talk & Lekhak Manch, these corners serve as meeting places for domestic publishers, authors, and book lovers.
NEW DELHI RIGHTS TABLE Taking place on February 12 and 13, 2024, the New Delhi Rights Table offers B2B matchmaking sessions among publishers. Exhibitors can book their Rights Table, present products and ideas, and finalize interests and agreements for the transfer of translation and other rights of books.
CULTURAL PROGRAMMES In addition to the fair, cultural presentations by leading organizations such as Song and Drama Division, Sahitya Kala Parishad, etc., add to the festive atmosphere. These programs receive wide appreciation, especially from foreign participants:
